How GeoPoly works
GeoPoly turns geography into a market for digital advertising space. Real auctions, real payments, real ownership records.

Every place is a digital territory
The map is split into a hierarchy: World → Country → Region → City → District → Street / Area → Building / Place → Advertising location. Each node is separately ownable as a digital advertising space on GeoPoly.

Every auction starts at $1
A country opens at $1. A single advertising location opens at $1. Zoom level, population and economic importance change nothing. The market decides what it's worth.

Bids are real payments
When you place a bid, you pay it. Your bid becomes binding only once the payment provider confirms the charge. If someone outbids you, that payment is refunded to your original payment method through the provider.

The clock resets on every bid
Each accepted bid pushes the deadline out by 24 hours. Failed payments, rejected bids and simply opening the bid box never move the clock. When 24 quiet hours pass, the last valid bidder wins.

Minimum increments
Each bid has to clear a minimum step over the current price. The step is set by the platform and calculated on the server — the amount shown on the auction page is the authoritative one.

Winning is permanent
When the 24 quiet hours pass, the last valid bidder wins and ownership transfers as soon as that payment settles. It never expires and is never re-auctioned: the territory stays yours until you decide to sell it, auction it or transfer it.

Ownership earns
Owners can rent their territory to advertisers by day, week, month or year while keeping ownership, advertise on it themselves, or list it for sale or re-auction. Own territory above the action and earn from qualifying activity below it — every settled transaction in the territories beneath yours pays a royalty share upward.

Platform fee
A 30% pool is taken on settled sales only — never on a losing bid. It is divided between royalties up the hierarchy, the platform and an ecosystem reserve. Every movement is written to an immutable transaction ledger.
What you are buying
A GeoPoly territory is a digital advertising space on this platform, named after a real place. It is not the place itself. Owning one gives you control of advertising on GeoPoly for that territory and a share of qualifying activity beneath it. It confers no rights over physical land, buildings, addresses or any real-world property, and no relationship with the people or authorities of that location.
